Little blue and big red
This is my favorite picture of Amie (little blue) and Zorra (big red). They were on our back porch enjoying some quality time with the Scientist's mom. Notice Zorra's characteristic "heeler slouch."
This picture is especially precious to me now that my big girl is gone. Tomorrow will be the first anniversary of Zorra's death. If I can stand to write about it, I will, but I think you will understand if I do not.
I will be thinking of you tomorrow. It's been two and a half years since Phoebe died and five and a half since Hannah died. I'm grateful to have Lola and Gracie bouncing around the house, but I still miss my other girls.

I lost my sweet beloved Duke two months ago and the journey of loss has been so hard. Blessings to you in this time of remembering.

Yeah, tough and sad losses are difficult to talk about. Zorra was beautiful, too.
