Guest blogger: Amie

This morning my mama and daddy met some of their friends for something called a CROP walk. I stayed home because they didn't think I would enjoy walking that far. But while they were there, they made a new friend. This is Ruby.

Ruby's mom says that when they met her, she was skinny and very, very hungry, and so sick that she had no fur on her backside. Now she is one of the sleekest, shiniest, happiest dogs you could ever meet. Ruby loves her people, and they love her.

I think Ruby has been blessed, like Sister and me. I bet she is thankful, too.

(Now Mama has two beautiful friends named Ruby. But the other Ruby only has two legs.)

YAY for the CROP Walk!! I've walked in it for about 12 years, and last year I started it at my new church. I'm so glad you're involved.

We love CROP Walk! We did get very thirsty on it, but there was a water station for us, so we were well taken care of. It was probably a good thing that you stayed home and rested. We're glad your thumb-havers CROP walked, though!
Love,

The two-legged Ruby has been to a CROP walk, too! And both Rubies are glad to be your friend.

Who knows, maybe you will get to meet Ruby in dogson (as opposed to person). If not, it's always fun to hear about a new friend who found health and healing through loving care.

What a beautiful dog! I love those stories. I'd love us to do a crop walk, too.

Newman says he would also like to do a crop walk, but I don't think he means what it thinks it means.
