It's sort of like a long, narrow mall. No night life there, but plenty of night life (including jazz!) up on the surface.

Ruth, I love "Enchanted April" too. It is now available (finally) on DVD, and we watched it last night!

On our trip, whenever anyone whined about the rain, my husband would mutter under his breath, "Yes, it's raining, IN. TUSCANY. We're being rained on, IN. TUSCANY."
I would love to be standing in that Italian rain right now.zorrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00301856272073306968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31834790.post-8720965393194061042009-05-24T14:49:15.348-05:002009-05-24T14:49:15.348-05:00oh and this... would I really have to bring my own...oh and this... would I really have to bring my own maple syrup ;')Stratozhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10148600260976577216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31834790.post-67789444300807209812009-05-24T14:48:37.351-05:002009-05-24T14:48:37.351-05:00hmm, what about Jazz in that underground city?hmm, what about Jazz in that underground city?Stratozhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10148600260976577216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31834790.post-51759066777069253882009-05-24T14:07:11.410-05:002009-05-24T14:07:11.410-05:00That rain story is hilarious. Two women go to Italy to get away from dreary English weather (among other things), and when they arrive, it's pouring. One says, "How is this different?" and the other replies, "This is Italian rain."

My husband and I would love to go to Italy.Ruth Hull Chatlienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08797146501548509911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31834790.post-13827062550942647812009-05-22T20:26:26.276-05:002009-05-22T20:26:26.276-05:00AHHH, Italy is one place I'd love to go!!!
